Meditation Class

Updated: Feb 28, 2023

The beauty of Buddhist practices is they are not in conflict with any other belief systems. Whether you are Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Atheist, Wiccan, or practice any other faith tradition, developing a meditation or qigong practice will only enhance your contemplation and presence in your life.

I have been practicing meditation for 20+ years and Qigong for 10+ years, alongside a longer art practice and teaching classes that combine the three practices for 6 years. Many of my art students have expressed wanting to go deeper with their meditation and qigong practice. So, I have decided to offer a 6 week online class dedicated to these mindfulness practices.

Art of Being Online

March 8 - April 12, 2023

Wednesdays 8-9am

Sliding scale $80 - $100 for 6 weeks

This class will include a 25 minute Qigong practice called the 8 Pieces of Brocade, a 20 minute silent meditation, and a group reading and discussion of Suzuki Roshi's Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind. A recording will be made available if you miss a class.

Please feel free to contact me with questions. I look forward to practicing with you!

Here's a video I made during the pandemic of a 5 minute Qigong practice - with my dear friend Slinky -
