March Madness, not just basketball. There is an untenable nature to the transition from Winter to Spring. The rocking wilds of a world waking up, like a sleeping giant, here in Vermont. I have been reflecting on the wisdom of as above, so below. This season is connected to the Wood element in traditional Chinese medicine, an energy that expresses through the liver and gallbladder meridians, and the emotion of anger. And I have been struggling with the pain of gallstones!

  • Organ Systems: Liver and Gallbladder

  • Season: Spring

  • Direction: East

  • Color: Green

  • Flavor: Sour

  • Emotions: Anger, frustration, irritability

  • Functions: Vision, planning, decision-making, growth, and movement

Can you feel that energy in the air? How do we locate trust and vision in the midst of frustration and a fear filled world?

One of my many guides is Renee Sills at Embodied Astrology I have been holding her invitation to see that what we need and want for the world is here, right now. Even if just in your imagination. It is as important to be able to envision how we want the world to be, as acknowledging how it is breaking our hearts.

I am moving deeper into the energy behind forms and actions. This Spring I will be taking a Reiki Masters course to continue my reiki training and will be studying with the wonderful local healer, Michele Doucette to add Zero Balancing to my energetics training. In addition, I am in the midst of a self study of flower essences.

I am keeping my work life simple these days as I attend to my health, so I will not be taking on new clients for a couple more months. I am always available to provide intuitive insight through a reading (sample) if you are desiring guidance and focus for your life in this moment.

In creative news! I welcome you to an opportunity to support our local asylum seekers support program, CASP, and experience the creative process day by day for the month of May. I will be sending a second email with this note with all the details.

I wish you health, a sense of peace, and a clear heart,

Jess

PS Please come out and protest this Saturday - even for an hour, even if you don't have a sign. There are protests being organized all around this area. I will be in Brattleboro. For more information.

"The metaphor of Indra’s Net originates from the Atharva Veda (one of the four Vedas), which likens the world to a net woven by the great deity Shakra or Indra. The net is said to be infinite, and to spread in all directions with no beginning or end. At each node of the net is a jewel, so arranged that every jewel reflects all the other jewels. No jewel exists by itself independently of the rest. Everything is related to everything else; nothing is isolated."
